LestersLegends.com presents Fantasy Hoops Waiver Wire Bin Vol. 18.

I’ve scoured the fantasy baskeball waiver wires to find gems so you don’t have to.

G
Mickael Pietrus, Orlando Magic
- Pietrus has been solid lately scoring 11.8 points to go along with 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 3.0 three-pointers over his last four games.  He shot 54.8% from the floor and 52.2% from three.  He was just 1 of 6 from the line.  He has a cap number of $1.31M in the Sporting News salary cap game, and is owned in 59.8% of ESPN and 31% of Yahoo leauges.  He qualifies at SG & SF.

Arron Afflalo, Detroit Pistons – Affalo has been solid replacing Rip Hamilton averaging 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steal, and 4.0 three-pointers in those two games.  He shot 52% from the floor, 61.5% from downtown, and 6 of 6 from the charity stripe.  He has a $0.50M SN cap number, and is owned in 0.3% of ESPN and 1% of Yahoo leagues.  He qualifies at PG & SG.  Rip is supposed to miss again tonight so Afflalo could make a solid play.  He’s a short-term fix though because Rip will likely be back soon.

F
Steve Novak, Los Angeles Clippers
- Novak has been en fuego the past four games for the Clippers averaging 17.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.5 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 5.3 three-pointers per game.  He shot 60% from the floor, 2 for 2 from the line, and 61.8% from downtown.  He has a $0.50M SN cap number, and is owned in 1% of ESPN and 9% of Yahoo leagues.  He qualifies at SF & PF.
Jason Thompson, Sacramento Kings - The Rookie out of Rider is playing another fine stretch of basketball.  In his last four games he’s averaging 14.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.8 blocks.  He shot 53.8% from the field and 88.9% from the line.  He has a $1.03M SN cap number, and is owned in 7.8% of ESPN and 40% of Yahoo leagues.  He qualifies at SF, PF, and C.

C
