Tigers Busy
By Chad Jorgenson - March 24, 2008 | Email the author

The Detroit Tigers have had an active couple of days after a busy offseason.

First they came to an agreement with Third Baseman Miguel Cabrera on an 8 year, $153 Million contract. Which is the highest contract ever given out by the Tigers and the fourth largest in baseball history behind A-Rod, Jeter, and Manny.

That was the good news for the Tigers, on the dark side, Curtis Granderson will start the season on the DL after breaking a finger on his right hand in a game against the Phillies.
